Want to join us at the Change Food Fest but can’t be in New York City or can’t get into the event? No problem. We’ll be Livestreaming the fest on Saturday, November 12th, so you can either host your own or attend a viewing party.
Hosting a viewing party in your community is a great way to educate yourself and your peers about all that is happening in sustainable food, and anyone can do it. Whether your viewing party takes place in your living room, on a farm, or in a university auditorium, we are happy to accommodate the needs of parties of any size.
It’s easy – simply register your event and we’ll be in touch with more information. We will provide you with everything you might need to host a successful and fulfilling event, including posters, sample social media, technical tips, and personalized help along the way.
Check out A Change Food Guide: How to Organize Your Own Food Event for ideas on hosting your own party.
Our viewing parties are a crucial part of the Change Food Fest, and we appreciate the enthusiasm our hosts share with us about spreading the word about sustainable food and farming. If you belong to a co-op, nonprofit, university group, or the like, hosting a viewing party is an excellent way to gain exposure. Leading up to November, we’ll be spotlighting our hosts via social media and the Guide 2 Good Food. You’ll also have the opportunity to respond to questions and appear in our Quickbites series amongst some of the most knowledgeable and influential change-makers in the food movement.
Learn about one of our viewing party hosts, Bluff Country Co-op, who aims to change our way of living, especially our food choices that can affect our health, economy, and the environment.
