NEW YORK AND MILANO — Food advocacy organization Change Food and the leading international food innovation summit Seeds&Chips today announced a partnership to merge their annual events, which would make the Seeds&Chips (SaC) conference, #SaC2018, in Milano, Italy, the top food event in the world.
Seeds&Chips founder Marco Gualtieri and CCO Sharon Cittone will be back with their groundbreaking four-day program and continue hosting speakers such as 2017 guests President Barack Obama, former White House Chef and policy advisor Sam Kass, Food + Tech Connect’s Danielle Gould and other global gamechangers. The 2018 event has already confirmed former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, with many more keynotes and speakers to be announced shortly.
Change Food founder and food advocate Diane Hatz will bring 20 years of food movement experience and seven years of event planning and production with TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” and the “Change Food Fest” to help grow Seeds&Chips.
“This is a perfect example of 21st century collaborative business,” Hatz said. “By working together, we’ll have a much greater impact in changing both our local and global food systems so that more people will have access to and be able to consume healthier, safer, fresh, delicious food.”
“By joining forces, we’ll delve more deeply into key issues and reach many more people,” Sharon Cittone, Chief Content Officer said. “We plan to make Seeds&Chips the Davos/TED/SXSW of food — In short, the 2018 conference will be the No. 1 food event around the world.”
Seeds&Chips 2018 will be held May 7 – 10, 2018, in Milano, Italy, at MiCo – Milano Congressi. Tickets are already on sale and selling fast!
