April 8 – 9The Food + Enterprise Summit.  Held in Brooklyn, New York, this summit is an annual gathering presented by Slow Money NYC aiming to connect Investors + Entrepreneurs with the goal of financing a better food system. April 10 – National Young Farmers Coalition at BAM. Support the next generation of farmers by joining the National Young Farmers Coalition at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Fishman Space for an evening of food, drink, and live theatre. The event will feature the premiere of GOOD DIRT, a production written by Jeremy Davidson that tells the stories of six farm families from the Hudson Valley. Afterparty to follow at BAM Lepercq Space.

April 10 – 12Chefs Collaborative Summit: Good Food is Smart Business.  As a member of the host committee, Change Food is able to offer our community a $100 discount to the Change Food Summit, a gathering of 350 top chefs and food professionals from across the U.S. in the heart of Greenwich Village at NYU to explore the intersections of good food, the environment, finance, workers rights, and public policy.  

April 20 – 21Food Tank Summit, Washington DC. Researchers, farmers, chefs, policy makers, government officials, and students will come together for panels on topics including; nourishing the planet, improving nutrient density, the future of organic, investing in the food movement, legislating change in the food system, and more. Change Food’s Diane Hatz will be on a panel on April 20th.

May 11 – 14Seeds & Chips.  Located in Milan, Italy, Seeds & Chips is the first international exhibit and conference totally dedicated to the Food & Technology sector. An event that brings together enthusiastic innovators, companies and investors who are eager to change, and in some cases revolutionize, the way food is produced, distributed, consumed and depicted.  Change Food is a content partner for this event.

June 3 Antibiotics in Food: Can Less Do More? Presented by the Sackler Institute for Nutrition Science at the New York Academy of Sciences, explore the implications of antibiotic usage in food production on both animal and human health, food safety, and our economic systems. Speakers include experts working in the field of antibiotics, public health, and farming from across the globe. Register by April 21st for early-bird discounted rates.
