Daniel Klein and Mirra Fine are the filmmakers behind the Perennial Plate, an online documentary series dedicated to socially responsible and adventurous eating. For the past 5 years, they have been traveling the US and the world exploring the wonders and complexities behind the ever more connected global food system. In 2013 and 2014, they won James Beard awards for their documentary series. Hunter Johnson is a Minneapolis filmmaker who joined the team to help The Perennial Plate create the new PBS series “The Victory Garden’s Edible Feast”, part of his job interview was to help edit “there is only coffee.”
