Jessica Wilson is a Registered Dietitian based in NYC. She grew up in the central valley in northern California and moved to New York for graduate school in 2015. After completing the Nutrition and Public Health program and dietetic internship at Teachers College, Columbia University, she worked as an inpatient dietitian and then as an outpatient dietitian. She now works as a WIC dietitian in Brooklyn and enjoys the community-based and public health environment. It is her goal to help prevent chronic disease through socially- and culturally-appropriate nutrition education and environmental factors. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new foods, exploring NYC with friends, and learning how to salsa dance.
