Monica is a producer for Change Food Fest.
Monica Moore graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BA in Theater in December 1999 and has been working in New York ever since. Her career started with an eighteen-month Stage Management Fellowship at the Lincoln Center Institute and later as a freelance stage manager for theater as well as dance. She worked on shows such as The Monument (Fringe Festival) and Hellhound on My Trail by Dennis Johnson (Atlantic Theater School). She also spent many seasons touring with Carlota Santana’s Spanish Dance Company.
As Monica’s career progressed, she transitioned into production management, event management and producing. Monica’s jobs have taken her into many great venues with a variety of shows including Neil Sedaka Sings Yiddish at Carnegie Hall, Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gala at Avery Fisher Hall, and Martha Stewart Presents American Made at Grand Central Terminal.
Monica is a member of LAByrinth Theater and Target Margin Theater. With LAB, she worked as the Production Stage Manager on four shows directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman: Our Lady of 121st Street (Center Stage and Union Square), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Public Theater) and The Little Flower of East Orange (Public Theater).
Monica continues to work on events throughout the city and beyond in many capacities. These include special event permitting for annual events, one off spectaculars, and the occasional Pope visit. She recently finished her thirteenth year on the Times Square New Year’s Eve event.
