AgArts mission: AgArts imagines and promotes healthy food systems through the arts.
Art challenges us and art helps us think in new ways. In an effort to raise awareness and creatively explore issues around food and farming, the nonprofit AgArts has been launched.
Co-founded by Iowa’s Poet Laureate Mary Swander, Stone Barns/Leopold Center’s Fred Kirschenmann and Change Food’s Diane Hatz, AgArts is finding ways to connect artists working on issues in food and farming with each other and the public at large.
