We did a survey asking commercial buyers about their own demand for local food, and the reason they are not giving up, that they are going to be buying more local food, is because consumers, their customers, their clients, are telling them they have to. So this is really working, we just have to keep letting people know. We found that mainstream supermarkets in our city resisted, even when we showed them research for a while. But when the drumbeat continued, they’re now selling more local. And they’re marketing it that way because they know that people care. So, you know, people can’t give up, this is really just starting to hit scale.
