Bruce Friedrich, executive director of The Good Food Institute, talks about how food tech will “save the world.” The current process of animal agriculture is entrenching the world in global poverty, and it’s bad for the environment, bad for global health and bad for animals. Good Food Institute is looking at creating a plant based meat that can compete on price, taste, and convenience, especially looking at “clean meat,” where no animals are harmed, no antibiotics used, and no bacteria found.
