I think the biggest problem with the food system today is what I call flat out fraudulent labeling. We have made it so difficult for someone to understand just exactly what it is they’re buying. The companies are allowed to put statements on there that have nothing to do with the food that they’re selling, just to deflect the consumer from thinking about the things that are happening in that product, or perhaps are even written on that label. The imagery that’s on a package, is so deceptive, it’s so different than the norm.
